The Hoboken Community Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides numerous charitable and community services for the Hoboken, NJ community, has announced the lineup for its annual fundraiser, “Taste of Hoboken,” slated for Tuesday, June 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.

More than 25 local restaurants — including The Ainsworth, Alessio’s, Annie & Em’s Bakeshop, Anthony David’s, Baking Mama, Barbès, Bin 14, Blue Eyes, bwè kafe, East Iceland Coffee Co., Fat Taco, Fruiti Fi, Halifax, Hudson Table, Il Tavolo di Palmisano, Karma Kafe, Leo’s Grandevous, The Madison Bar & Grill, Olivia’s, Pilsener Haus & Biergarten, Plaka Souvlaki, Saku, Sangría Hoboken, Seven Valleys, Tony Boloney’s, and Touch the Heart — will provide guests with samples of their signature dishes.

Proceeds from the event will benefit HCC’s triad of programs, including its food pantry that supports nearly 1,700 residents and families; a single-room-occupancy building offering affordable housing to 96 low-income men; and a 40,000-square-foot community and recreation center (under rehabilitation) at 1301 Washington Street.

Tickets, which cost $75 and may be used by anyone aged 21 and older, are on sale at hobokencc.org/a-taste-of-hoboken.

While HCC has been sponsoring Taste of Hoboken for over twenty years, this year will be the first time the fundraiser will feature a silent auction. Those not in attendance will still able to bid on auction items by visiting galabid.com/tasteofhoboken.

This year’s Taste of Hoboken will also include a wine pull, which affords participants the chance to walk home with a valuable bottle of wine for an additional modest donation, and music courtesy of the The Benjamins.

Event sponsors include the Jersey City Medical Center, Academy Bus, Hoboken Business Alliance, BCB Bank, Bijou Properties, Cresthill Academy, Hashtag Legal, Foot and Ankle Premier Specialists and UBS. Giannone Wine & Liquor Co will provide more than 10 wine, beer and liquor brand tastings.
