The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office announced the arrest today of Tyquan Baisden, 25, in the October strangulation death of his girlfriend, 27 year-old Diamond Davila.
On October 19, Davila was found dead in her apartment at 131 Woodlawn Avenue. The Northern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be Homicidal Violence and the manner of death to be Homicide.
Baisden has been charged with Murder; Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (Cord); and Possession of a Weapon (Cord) and will be housed at the Hudson County Correctional Facility in Kearny pending his first appearance.

Baisden was arrested on Summerfield Avenue in Asbury Park without incident by members of the United States Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Gang/Violent Crimes Unit.
