Jersey City Medical Center yesterday announced the opening of a satellite at Exchange Place that will offer primary care and specialty and rehabilitation services.

Located at 95 Greene St., the branch will ā€œbring care closer to where people live, right in their communities,ā€œ according to a spokesman for RWJ Barnabas Health, the centerā€™s corporate parent. 

Mayor Fulop, who was on hand for the July 6 ribbon cutting, said the city is “proud to partner with the Jersey City Medical Center in bringing these essential services to our community.ā€

All appointments must be pre-scheduled. Visits for primary or specialty care can be arranged by calling 201-499-8730. Those needing outpatient rehabilitation services, such as physical or occupational therapy, should call 201-499-8700. Those seeking speech therapy or audiology services, should dial 201-499-8720.
