Jersey City Medical Center yesterday announced the opening of a satellite at Exchange Place that will offer primary care and specialty and rehabilitation services.

Located at 95 Greene St., the branch will “bring care closer to where people live, right in their communities,“ according to a spokesman for RWJ Barnabas Health, the center’s corporate parent.

Mayor Fulop, who was on hand for the July 6 ribbon cutting, said the city is “proud to partner with the Jersey City Medical Center in bringing these essential services to our community.”

All appointments must be pre-scheduled. Visits for primary or specialty care can be arranged by calling 201-499-8730. Those needing outpatient rehabilitation services, such as physical or occupational therapy, should call 201-499-8700. Those seeking speech therapy or audiology services, should dial 201-499-8720.
