Two people were shot tonight in the Bergen-Lafayette neighborhood, also known as Lafayette, according to sources.
The shooting took place early this evening near the corner of Martin Luther King Drive and Virginia Avenue. One person was shot in the face and the other in the leg. Both individuals were taken to Jersey City Medical Center and were listed in stable condition, with one was slated for possible surgery at the time of the report.
