This weekend, you can celebrate NYC Pride in Jersey City with Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival and Six26, attend the Jersey City Americana Music Festival at 902 Brewing Co., or participate in a 5K organized by Embrace Relief. There’s also live music, comedy, a beach walk, and more.  

 

Jersey City Americana Music Festival

902 Brewing Co. will be hosting the Jersey City Americana Music Festival at its brewery this Saturday. There will be local and regional bands playing on two stages, as well as food trucks, vendors, and 902 Craft Beer.

Six26 and the Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival present We Rise

Celebrate NYC Pride right here in Jersey City with Six26 and the Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival. The We Rise party for the LGBTQ+ Community will be free to attend for those aged 21 and older. There will be dancers, drink specials, and drag performers.

Six26 Rooftop Vow Renewals and After Party

This Saturday evening, Six26 and the Jersey City LGBTQ+ Pride Festival are hosting a vow renewal ceremony in honor of the anniversary of the passing of Marriage Equality. There will be entertainment, a champagne toast, and refreshments available for purchase. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

How Far Can You Walk: 5K Walk/Run

Embrace Relief has organized a 5K in Liberty State Park for this Saturday, “to recognize those struggling from lack of access to clean water in sub-Saharan Africa.” A portion of registration fees will support the goal of rebuilding 250 defunct water wells in the region.

Bike JC hosts a special night bike ride this Friday. It will last about three hours, starting and ending in Jersey City, with crossings to and from Manhattan by ferry.
