This weekend, Jersey City is packed with events to keep everyone busy. There’s the Snow Ball Gala, DIA Children’s Day/Book Day, and Opera on Tap at The Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery. Plus, there’s live music, comedy, and more. 

 

Snow Ball Gala: Into the Deep

Art House Productions and SILVERMAN present the Snow Ball Gala: Into the Deep, the annual black tie gala that raises funds for art and educational programming. Attendees must show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination.

DIA Children’s Day/Book Day

El día de los niños (Children’s Day), or El día de los libros (Book Day) — also known as Día — is “a celebration every day of children, families, and reading,” that “emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.” This event in Van Vorst Park will have music, a craft for pickup, and free books.

Walk MS Jersey City

This Saturday, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is hosting Walk MS Jersey City to raise awareness and money for MS research.
