Sixteen Jersey City residents were arrested during a county-wide warrant sweep this month. Led by Hudson County Sheriff Frank X. Schillari, the “December Operation” resulted in the arrests of 27 people in total.  

Warrants are issued when a defendant in a criminal proceeding fails to appear for a scheduled court date.

“I’m very proud of the fine officers who conducted this operation,” Sheriff Schillari said. “Their dedication and commitment to public safety is unrivaled, and these arrests should send a clear message that breaking the law is not tolerated in Hudson County.”

The 16 Jersey City residents are:

  • Peter Baerga, 40 year old male of Jersey City for Stalking 
  • Ronnie Baisden, 43 year old male of Jersey City for Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance/Near School Property and Violation of Probation 
  • Jumari Champagne, 18 year old male of Jersey City for Distribution 500 feet from Certain Public Property 
  • Tamper Clay, 34 year old female of Jersey City for Aggravated Assault 
  • Monae Z. Coleman, 23 year old female of Jersey City for Aggravated Assault 
  • Jan E. Cotoner, 33 year old male of Jersey City for Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance
  • Darlyn Garcia, 19 year old male of Jersey City for Receiving Stolen Property 
  • Rasean Gosa, 42 year old male of Jersey City for Manufacturing/Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance or Intent to Manufacture/Distribute Controlled Dangerous Substance, Maintaining Operating Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility, and Knowingly Exhibiting a False Government Issued I.D 
  • Felicindo Jimenez, 38 year old male of Jersey City for Burglary, Theft by Unlawful Taking, and Criminal Trespass 
  • Dennis J. Mack, 22 year old male of Jersey City for Burglary
  • Tobiasz Marchel, 35 year old male of Jersey City for Receiving Stolen Property, Forgery, and Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance 
  • Rodney Miller, 48 year old male of Jersey City for Robbery
  • Robert A. Pabillar, 47 year old male of Jersey City for Possession Controlled Dangerous Substance/Analog 
  • Brianna Roach, 26 year old female of Jersey City for Receiving Stolen Property 
  • Justin Rubio, 32 year old male of Jersey City for Criminal Attempt 
  • William Rogers, 25 year old male of Jersey City for being a Fugitive From Justice out of the state of Pennsylvania
