Bill Seeks to Clean Air in Low Income Communities

A bill recently passed by the State Senate aims to make sure that communities already overburdened with potentially harmful pollutants are able to block new or expanded electric plants, incinerators, sewage treatment plants, landfills, solid waste facilities, or other major sources of pollution.
