Sustainable JC Presents Summer Solstice Virtual Happy Hour – Entertaintment + York Street Project ~
When: Saturday, June 20, 2020, 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. -ish
What: Virtual Happy Hour with local entertainment, in the comfort of your living room or weekend getaway – a short interlude to celebrate the Summer Solstice.
How: For only a $5 donation, those who register will be given a WebEx link to join SJC’s Green Drinks gathering – very easy.
Why: Let’s all relax together with a great mix of sounds (jazz, blues country and uplifting street music), meet a few like-minded people from our community and support a local nonprofit especially in need during this pandemic – it’s a cool way to spend an hour and $5 bucks (the artists are great ! ).
5:00 – Arrive to the sounds of Andrea Brachfeld, internationally renowned jazz flutist (we will also enjoy Andrea’s music in the main room if you choose not to Network and at the end of the evening if you choose to stay late !)

Proceeds from the event will benefit the YORK STREET PROJECT Additional contributions (donation page here) will help with unexpected expenses as they continue to serve 54 homeless families and 42 low-income women with meals, a clean and safe environment, and the supportive services needed to ease their worries during the COVID pandemic.
Partial funds from the event will benefit Sustainable JC, a Collaborative Network of green community groups and individuals within Jersey City who have come together to advance efforts to move the city toward a more sustainable and resilient future. Who We Are.
