The Jersey City Public School District reported today on their website that currently all their students and staff are fine and the district does not have anyone positive with the COVID 19 virus. However, out an abundance of caution the district’s schools will close the the week of Monday, March 16 to review risks and decide if they will remain closed another week. They will assess the available information at that time and notify everyone as soon as possible.

Tomorrow, Friday, March 13 schools will be open and students will be sent home with their assignments for the next two weeks. During the weekend, the district will advise parents and caregivers where and at what time meals will be available for students. Meals will be made available at the closest school.

Check the district’s website for additional information at https://www.jcboe.org/
