East Orange Man Pleads Guilty in Greenville Homicide

An East Orange man has pleaded guilty in connection with a fatal 2020 shooting in Greenville.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, yesterday Thaddues Williams, 39, of East Orange, pleaded guilty in the death of Aieshia McFadden, 36, of Jersey City.

McFadden was gunned down at approximately 8:30 p.m. on December 4, 2020 in the area of 217-219 Martin Luther King Drive.

Williams pleaded guilty to one count of Aggravated Manslaughter.

The state will be recommending a sentence of 20 years in New Jersey State Prison, subject to the No Early Release Act. Sentencing is scheduled before Judge Vincent J. Militello on October 21. 

The State is represented in this case by Hudson County Assistant Prosecutor James Felix.
