The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office has launched an investigation following the discovery of a dead body near Bayonne.
According to a tweet this morning, the body was found in the area of Route 440 on the border of Jersey City and Bayonne.
The HCPO Homicide Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating.
The prosecutor said that more information would be forthcoming.
