Authorities seek this Toyota Sienna

UPDATE: The Hudson County Prosecutor has announced that the vehicle wanted in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Jersey City last night has been recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision.

According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the car, a light colored Toyota Sienna, struck and killed Mumtaz Chaudhry, 85, of Jersey City in the area of Fairview Avenue and Summit Avenue last night at approximately 6:45 p.m.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are actively investigating this case. They are asking anyone with information to contact the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor at 201-915-1345 or to leave an anonymous tip. All information will be kept confidential.
